NOTE. The default frequency is the human consensus band, calibrated by the Pilsen Orbital Standards Bureau in 2674. Drifting it may reach older planets, who do not always answer kindly. Your shibboleth is recorded on first contact; the device will recognise you on every later return. Shibboleths cannot currently be reset — write yours down.
